Quarter 1 Waiwai: Kuleana
Responsibility, Privilege, Concern, Right, Authority, Duty
Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptable with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire."
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
Quarter 2 Waiwai: Ahonui
Patient, Patience, Enduring, Long Suffering, A Great Breath while you wait
The Lord is compassionate and merciful, very patience, and full of faithful love.
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
1 Corinthians 13:4
Quarter 3 Waiwai: Kūpaʻa
Steadfast, Stand Firm, Loyal, Determined, Constant, Allegiance, Immovable
Being rooted and established in love, may you have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
My dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 13:4
Quarter 4 Waiwai: Mahalo
Thankfulness, Gratitude, To Praise, To Admire, To Appreciate
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever.
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body."
