Ho‘oulu Campaign

In the fall of 2017, Waolani Judd Nazarene School celebrated their 50th year of ministry in childhood education. In the Hawaiian language, "ho‘oulu" translates to "to grow; to raise".

In honor of our past and in anticipation of our future, we launched the Ho‘oulu Campaign to ensure the growth of our blessings in the WJNS community.

ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED

  • Installed air conditioning in classrooms and offices

  • Renovated middle school building

  • Installed a new playground and basketball hoop

  • Remodeled the original chapel area into The Makers' Space

  • Installed lighting in the back of the school

  • Install new roof on middle school building

  • Repaint the exterior of school building

  • Renovated kitchen

  • Replace playground turf and remove old structures

FUTURE PLANS

  • Install camera security system

  • Remodel classrooms and upgrade furniture

  • Update school entrance, and lanai area

  • Resurface parking lot

  • Update sound, lighting, and video equipment

  • Install playground shades 

  • Update windows in main building

  • Construct bathroom in worship center

  • Install new flooring and carpeting

  • Repaint the inside of school building

  • Remodel bathrooms
