Jesus is the cornerstone and lifeblood of WJNS. Students learn about God through our weekly chapel, Bible class, faith-based curriculum, and daily interactions with our Christian faculty and staff.
At WJNS, you are welcomed into
our ʻohana. With the love of Jesus
in us, everyone loves on and is loved by everyone in our community -- from students and parents, to staff and church members.
With an average 16:1 student-teacher ratio, students are engaged in the classroom and are given individualized attention for their academic, social, mental, and spiritual needs.
WJNS has been caring for and educating children for over
50 years. As alumni still visit and send their children here, our legacy has carried on strong and will continue for generations to come.
Learning happens in more than just the classroom. Each year, students have the opportunity to experience the following off-site trips:
Educational Tour to Washington, D.C. & New York (6th-8th, alternating)
Mission Trip to Arizona (6th-8th, alternating)
Educational Tour to a neighboring Hawaiʻi island (4th-5th)
Team Building at Camp Homelani (4th-8th)
Outdoor Activity Weekend at Camp Mokuleia (K2-3rd)
various field trips to local sites (Preschool-8th)
